HOW DEEP IS YOUR SEED

I believe that God is a God of reaping and sewing simply because he uses this term so many times in the bible to bring out different points, so that we can comprehend his spiritual thoughts. We have to remember that he is God, and if the clouds in the sky are the dust from his feet, he is a pretty big God. There is no way our little garden pea brain could possible be compared with the thoughts of God, and the best part is that his thoughts are perfect. That is something to really think about, so I did while I was peeling an apple, I noticed how far down God had placed the seed when he created the apple.

If I was to compare an apple to a Christian, the core of the apple would be buried in it, and the Christian would have Gods seed buried deep in their heart. Then I began to think about the peeling and all the meat of the apple we would have to go through just to get to the seed. Look how important this seed had to have been to be so protected, after all the entire apple started with the seed. God wants us to decrease and him to increase so that people can see him in our lives. As I continued peeling the apple I wondered just how much flesh we would have to get rid of just for someone to know he lived in our hearts.

No wonder God wants us to die daily; he wants us to show him not our flesh, so that everyone will know that he lives in our hearts. We love the praise from people when they tell us how great we are, but don't forget where we got the talent. God wants to be able to touch and love thru us, if he is not allowed to use us he would have no way of reaching this lost and dieing world. Always remember that he is the hand, we are only the gloves, and we have to allow that unseen hand to be seen thru us. If we humble ourselves before him in his own time when he thinks we are ready he will exalt us. If we don't faint while we are doing well for God, we will reap a huge harvest.

So the next time you peel an apple, think about how much meat you would have to peel off just to find the seed. Make sure that you don't find a worm in it, which would mean it, would have to be thrown away because it

would be rotten to the core, no good for God or man
