DOES THE SHOE FIT

The one thing my daughter likes to do more than anything else is to shop, so in order to keep her happy I enjoy taking her. When she heir’s the word sale, she starts reminding me of everything she has done right so I will take her, so I did. We went into one of the store’s she liked, then to one we both liked. On this particular day I had been battling within myself about my place in the Lord, exactly what he wanted me to do, if I was in his will or mine, I was there and not there at the same time.

        As we passed the shoes they were all on sale so we started trying on different ones. I found a lot I liked but they just didn’t seem to fit. As I was trying on the shoes I realized this was the same battle I was fighting inside. I can wear many shoes but are they the right one’s for me, is this the pair that God wants me to wear. It’s really funny how God can be everywhere at one time, yet he is so close to us that he takes time for every little thing that worries us. God knew I was going shopping, he knew I was going to look at those shoes, and he found the perfect time to minister to me. He knew about the battle that I was suffering with and he knew what would be the right time. As I continued to try on shoes I realized I can wear many shoes, but the most important thing is making sure that they

are comfortable when they fit.
